Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Architect to lead and oversee our architectural projects from conception to completion. The Senior Project Architect will play a pivotal role in coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This position requires a deep understanding of architecture and construction processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives and align them with the organization's strategic goals.

  2. Project Leadership: Lead and guide the project team, consisting of architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  3. Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining project quality and timelines.

  4. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards in design, construction, and project deliverables. Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during implementation.

  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop risk mitigation plans. Proactively manage risks to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

  6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure projects comply with all applicable standards.

  7. Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations. Provide regular project updates and act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

  8. Team Development: Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the project team.

  9. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular project progress reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in architecture and project management, including successful delivery of complex projects in various sectors such as commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial.

  • Professional licensure as an architect is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Revit. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
