REGION 2 HEADQUARTERS - TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

STATUS: Complete

KSA completed a Regional Corporate Campus for TDOT. This project was sited on a 75 acre site and includes a total of 16 separate building structures which include administration building, lab building, field office buildings, maintenance department building, multiple work shops and large bay garages. The buildings and site were designed to facilitate seven distinct departments within TDOT that facilitate Region 2 for the State of Tennessee. The buildings were designed with maintenance and longevity being of the utmost importance. A majority of the buildings’ exterior skins consist of tilt-up insulated concrete panels. The HVAC design employs vertical geothermal wells.
