Hi, I am David.  I have ten years of experience in Architecture and Project Management for a broad range of projects.  I graduated from El-Shorouk Academy in Egypt with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.  I also have a diploma in Building Technology from Cairo University.

Many people enjoyed building things with Legos as they were growing up, but usually not to the exclusion of all other activities.  For me, though, nothing was more fun than getting a picture in my mind's eye and then being able to create it using those ingenious little blocks.  I didn't limit myself to Legos, however.  I used anything from construction site debris to office tools that could help me build my "architecture".

Experience has allowed me the ability to keep an eye on the details and to be comfortable with all stages of building design.  I've become proficient managing project development, coordinating engineering consultants, reviewing shop drawings, etc.  I enjoy advising clients of the pros and cons of design constructability, the qualities and costs associated with materials, the scheduling of their project....the list goes on.  During site visits I can consistently avoid unnecessary costs by spotting general compliance issues between as-built conditions and the contract drawings and specifications.

In 2018 I joined Kline Swinney Associates as an architectural intern.  My goal is to become a Registered Architect and achieve LEED certification.
